Introduction
azhomework.com gives Maricopa County homeowners something most of them have never had: a pre-filled record of their home, systems, and upgrade history, seeded from county assessor and MLS data. They claim it to manage and correct it.
It's not a home-value estimator and it's not contractor lead-gen for its own sake. It's a credibility engine. The more useful the record, the more likely a homeowner works with me when they're ready to buy or sell. Originally built as homeprohelp.com, renamed azhomework.com in July 2026.
I built it solo, using Claude Code as the engineering partner, going from a single pilot ZIP code to full county coverage in under a month.

The pivot
Homeowners don't wake up wanting to verify a record. They wake up wondering how much life is left in the AC unit, or whether that roof is starting to show its age.
The original pitch was simple: claim your home's record, keep it accurate. That's a fine feature. It isn't a reason to visit a website. So I rebuilt the front door. Every home's own data now generates a honey-do list, ranked by system age, and requesting quotes on it is the primary ask. Keeping the record accurate still happens, just alongside that instead of in place of it.

Future
- A postcard-verification option for homeowners who want a "Verified Owner" badge, without adding friction to the base claim flow.
- Repurposing the original homeprohelp.com domain as the pro-facing side, where contractors register for leads and home intelligence.
- Continued polish on the owner dashboard as real usage turns up rough edges.
